I follow this instructions, but when I click on the "file" link that I've created nothing happens. Now file section tool or prompt pops up.

Man, this is baffling. A customer rep at Weebly pretty much told me I was just ignoring their instructions site, which is very confusing for a non-techy like me.

SIRI WEBER FEENEY
Due to elder care issues, I am not able to respond to questions, as I am concentrating on working on existing clients' updates and further projects.
I apologize to those who wrote in and weren't posted. I kept thinking I'd be able to respond and wasn't. Please read the existing posts for answers and don't forget to check the comments. Several related issues were covered within the comments and there are good suggestions from commenters, as well. Also, with the new Weebly interface formatting, click around and you'll find what seems to be all the old features behind visually simplified icons. So, for example, when wishing to change a page type (no header, tall header, etc.), click PAGES, click the page's name in the list, and you'll get all the different types to choose from. If you're really stuck, you can also call Weebly at 1-844-493-3259, also check out Weebly's blog, Weebly tutorials on YouTube and, if you're adventuring into coding, w3schools.com is terrific. Thank you, ~ Siri Follow me:
My clients tend to be owners of small businesses, writers, illustrators, and artists who need to update their sites frequently.
A template site is easy to update. It frees you from having to depend on someone else to make changes. When someone asks what I'd recommend, these days I say. . . "Switch over to a template website and customize the theme to get rid of the cookie-cutter look." Categories
